Class Related Response

Today was a smooth and cool day in English class. We all Participated in a Socratic Seminar, where we talked about the book  "Fahrenheit 451". A Socratic Seminar is a scholarly discussion of an essential question in which student opinions are shared, proven, refuted, and refined through dialogue with other students. Since we usually have a large class we did The fishbowl format, In this format , the teacher selects a portion of the class to sit in a circle or just as a group in the center of the room where they will discuss the articles for about 15 minutes. While this conversation is going on, the students in the outer circle take notes on the students in the inner circle. Students seated in the outer circle remain quiet during the inner group’s discussion. In a Socratic seminar, the students take responsibility for leading the conversation, and the teacher spectates. We also had a guest today watching us and seeing how we do in a Socratic Seminar. The Seminar was a little rusty and they but i think if they had a better question to answer they would've done even better.

My Passion Blog

I am very passionate about football and basketball or just sports in general. I love talking about it, reading about it, researching it, Etc. I love it even more when i'm watching it. Both sports are  unpredictable and very exciting. Some games make you feel like your in the crowd or even court side cheering. And most games can bring the family together like The Super Bowl or The NBA Playoffs/Finals. Also a lot of people look up to the athletes that play in these sports for example Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony Or some star football players Such as Eli Manning, J.J Watt, and Calvin Johnson. I'm also very Passionate about being Successful and something big in life. I wanna be remembered for generation after generation. I want too inspire people i want someone to say "Because of you i didn't give up".
